I've been fortunately to find a few great caps over the years, but this really is one of my favourites. A great combination of the the 82nd Airborne patch, a wonderful sunfaded blue, and the C-47 Club embroidery across the reverse! The C-47 Club was founded in the 1950s by WW2 82nd Airborne vets as a place for them to meet and organise around event and anniversaries etc. This cap likely dates from the early days of the club and almost certainly belonged to a WW2 82nd vet, possibly someone still serving as many were in the late 1950s-early 60s. This is a really cool cap, looks great on and with a beautiful look to it.

Used and faded, but no damage whatsoever.

- Tagged 7 3/8, bit fits a touch smaller - its a snug fit on my 7 3/8 head
- Measures 59cm around the inside of the brim
- Would suit a 7 1/8 - 7 1/4
