A beautiful example of a 1940s chore jacket. Tagged as being made by 8oz, possible a Sears subbrand in the same vein as Drum Major or Double Duty, but hard to tell exactly as I can't find any mention of them in catalogs from the mid-late 1940s. The piece itself is a nice WW2 style with a four button front, and using generic army style 13 star buttons. Given this I would estimate manufacturing date to be late war to early postwar. Four pocket construction with a watch pocket to the left breast.
