First standardised in November 1941, the AN6531 sunglasses are the forerunner and first of what are now know as aviators. Later in the war a second pattern would be introduced with a darker lens. This is an example of the Type II made by American Optical.
Condition
Used but excellent shape. Some very minor scratchs on the lenses that doesn't inhibit wearing at all. The case button works, but the front of the button is missing.
