Quite simply one of the best jackets ever made, and here in one of its earliest and the best iteration! The Trialmaster was first introduced in 1948, and quickly became the staple jacket for the explosion in popularity of motorcycling in postwar Britain. Worn on the backs of everyone from Che Guevara to the 59 Club, the Trailmaster was the jacket of choice for a generation of bikers!
The chequered flag Belstaff logo and Aero zipper are the clear indications that this was produced around the mid 50s, really a heyday for motorcycling when this truly iconic piece of British outerwear ruled above all.
Condition
This is in beautiful used Belstaff condition. Anyone that has been following me for a while might recognise this one, it's been in my collection for a few years. The jacket is perfect, she's got an amazing patina on the outside, and the liner has been cleaned to you don't need to worry about any marks on clothes. The trousers are as found, whilst all the Lightning zippers work perfectly, they're quite dirty on the inside.
