A great example of a late 1940s/early 50s chore jacket from a smaller manufacturer, Big Jack. It seems this company was based in Bristol Virginia/Tennessee, founded in the early 1900s, and eventually was bought by Blue Ridge Overalls in 1951/52. I imagine the factory then likely turned to producing branded denim for Penneys & Roebucks. A hard to find brand, especially a nice chore. The pockets sit nicely and low and pulled to the side, classic 1940s style.

Lovely used condition, nice strong blue, great fades on the arms. Remnants of the large paper tag in the pocket.
