The beautiful British Army Windproof Smock in the highly coveted brushstroke camouflage colourway. Introduced in the later part of the war, these smocks would see extensive use with infantry across Northern Europe, and again in Korea. Many would make their way to the French in Indochina, and they would become a mainstay of British special forces well into the 70s.
This is in amazing condition, and looks like is was hardly ever used. However, it was demilitarised at some point. Common with British pieces, when it's been deemed beyond useful the Quartermaster has cut the smock to stop it being used by other military forces, this is then painstakingly repaired. You'll notice a couple of diagonal seams across the back panels that are noticeable only to well trained eyes.
