When you're looking for a parka, you always know you can trust anything from Canada. Given their somewhat chilly climate, the Canadians are extremely well place to deliver a garment of both excellent weather proofing and warmth, but also of extreme durability. And this piece delivers all of that in spades and more. A classic piece of Korean War era design, that seems to have been iterated on well into the later part of the 20th century. Constructed of a solid nylon outer, with a removeable rich pile fur liner and detachable hood. So many features, bells and whistle on this it's hard to know where to start, but a few favourites are the Lightning zippers, huge taped buttons and solid metal pulls on the hood cords. It's a winter winner.
Condition.
This is in very good, but used condition. There are a few marks here and there, plus some discolouration to the nylon, a common trait on Canadian nylon garments of the era, but otherwise everything is present, correct and it great shape.
