Founded in Detroit in 1889 by Hamilton Carhartt, long before being today's fashion giant, it was a classic American workwear brand. Throughtout the early and mid 20th century, the brand would provide it's blue collar worker audience with the denim and duck canvas clothing needed for work in factories, railroads and fields. Now incredibly popular with the vintage denim market, the brand and it's railcar tag are amongst the most sought-after vintage pieces. This cap is from the 1950s in a classic engineer style, with rare pinstripe denim.
Condition
Used but excellent, with few signs of wear. There is some light marking to the sweatband, but otherwise perfect.
