Whilst Detroit will always be Carhartt's home, the company expanded so much during the middle of the 20th century that they also set up a factory in Toronto, Canada (and some other countries - but thats a story for another drop coming soon!). This chore jacket is a very very rare example, not only of a Canadian made piece, it's not got the typical 'Canadian Made' tag, but a "Union Made" tag. I've honestly struggled to find many other examples of this tag. The jacket itself is from the 1960s, with a classic 5 pocket design, unbranded buttons and triple stitch construction.
