Everyone loves the little things! These super cool items, know as a "match safe" were created alongside the first Carhartt Superdux clothing release in 1930. Given away alongside the hunting and fishing jackets or costs a rather modest $1 at the time. A very simple piece, these are a screw top bakelite match box with a leather seal to stop water leaking in. On the top of the box there is grooved surface on which one can strike your match.
Condition
Used but excellent, no damage or wear. Just a little loss of paint to the text on the front.
