Do you have the Right Stuff (in the Tom Wolfian sense)? Well this jacket does. Pace Flight Apparel operated out of LA in the 1970s & 1980s, and is well known for supplying the Test pilots for big name aircraft manufacturers of the time, Lockheed, McDonnell Douglas, Northrop and Grumman to name a few.
This jacket was made for Douglas Aircraft and its successor McDonnell Douglas. Patched and stamped to a Douglas pilot, I believe the original owner worked on the Advance Concept Ejector Seat (ACES) program in Long Beach, CA which took place throughout the 1970s.
