There are a few brands that really stand out in the workwear world, and of those in the 1950s Carhartt, Headlight and Finck's really are the cream of the crop. Started by William Muir Finck in the first years of the 20th Century having spent 11 years working with Carhartt, Finck's would quickly gain a reputation for excellent products, especially in the Detroit area, home of America's industrial might. Ironically Finck's would eventually be purchased by Carhartt, and ceased to exist as a brand in the early 1960s.
This particular piece dates to the 1950s with a classic five pocket, five button construction. It comes with a full set of pig enamelled buttons, and the all important Finck's tag in the collar.
