Well this was a quirky little find, and honestly something I don't know much about. The few references I can find allude to them being snow pants, but honestly the material is pretty light so I'm not entirely sure I agree. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know. Clearly influenced by the British windproofs and denim overtrousers, and clearly designed as an overtrouser without a fly closure and hand access into pockets beneath. This pair has been modified with the addition of a zipper and the open pockets (to access trousers beneath) having been closed.
