These are such cool bags, with a design dating back to the early part of the 20th century. These were used as safety bags, made from beautiful leather with a strap top allowing the bag to be securely locked. Often used as mailbags, or for carrying cash etc. This example is likely from the 1950s around the time Halle Bros opened a store in Southland shopping centre, Ohio.

Used but solid, no damage, and very useable.
