A classic piece of 1950s era vintage. Made in Japan when soldiers would regularly visit on R&R or ship through the many US based there. This has all of the classic motifs, a large map of Japan of the darker navy side, and a tiger on the blue side, fully hand embroidered. A have a pair of these, both brought back from Japan by an Airman in the mid-1950s.
