A proper piece of old workwear! The Nantasket Beach Steamboat Company was founded in 1890 after a series of mergers between boat services in the Boston area serving the Hingham Bay and Hull areas. It ran a small fleet of steamers, unfortunately many of which were destroyed in a fire in 1929, causing the business to fail a few years later. This wonderful cap was handmade for the company by Boston based uniform manufacter Fred Wentworth.
Condition
This is well used and show signs of it. Whilst it's in solid and wearable condition, expect wear to the lining and peak.
