OshKosh B'Gosh was founded in 1895 in OshKosh, Wisconsin USA, as a manufacturer and supplier of bibs and coveralls to the railroad workers in the area. They would be one of the dominant workwear brands of the 20th century, though these days focus more on the kidswear!
This example dates to the late 40s to early 1950s. It has a wider collar and squared off top pockets that distinguish it from later versions, as well as lacking a brand label. Inisde the collar is the heavy stitching where there would have been its original paper tag. A great example of a rare jacket.
Condition
Used but very good. Light fading and a couple of tiny knicks, but largely great shape.
