One of the great things I'm enjoying with the broader workwear market is hunting for some of the denim paraphernalia and just the depths of the advertising that was produced by early workwear companies. This particular piece is a lovely pocket watch fob. For those who haven't come across these before, it's a small decorative pendant worn on the end of one's watch chain. This example is rather rare, in that it was made in the early 1900s by Bird Jones & Kenyon for their Padlock Overalls brand. These names might not be the most obvious to you, as not long after this was made they would consolidate under the Duxbak brand!
Condition
Used with a wonderful patina. I've added a watch chain, which long term could easily be replaced by a nicer chain, necklace or key fob. Pocket watch is not included.
