A classic piece of 1950s workwear, a lovely Pay Day chore jacket. Its thought that Pay Day wasn't started by Penney's like some of its other brands, but rather it was acquired in the 1910s as Penney's started to expand rapidly. By the 1950s Penney's was a dominant force in US retail, and the Pay Day brand was one of the most well known and heavily produced workwear brands. This particular example dates to the 1950s before the removal of the pocket-watch pockets. It features a classic five pocket construction, with the top left pocket used exclusively for pocket-watch and pen.

Mint, some light wearing to the denim. Little fading and some wear to the sleeves.
