Hailing from Galesburg Illinois, the Gross company was founded in 1901 to manufacture overalls for the growing rail industry, and was eventually sold to Carhartt in the 1970s. The particular piece, a wonderful chore jacket was made in the 1950s, and comes in beautiful mint condition. A load of wonderful details including a printed tag, Union Made buttons, and my personal favourite are the red bartacks and buttons holes.

Deadstock and crispy, with some light storage marks/dirt.
