A beautiful example of a WW2 cigarette box made for a member of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Exact dating is hard, but this is very much the style I've seen coming from the middle east during WW2, maybe made in Egypt, but this is a quality that's hard to match. I'm not 100%, but it's wood lined, silver plated with gold inlay. A seriously beautiful piece.
