A rather lovely piece of rare British military clothing. These jackets were designed in the 1970s, initially as a weather proof combat garment for use by the Royal Marines. However, they proved somewhat unpopular in this configuration, with the button fastenings quickly replaced by velcro and the padded hood removed. Well the popularity of these has increase of late. These strange garments are now one of the hardest-to-find British postwar garments - this is the third I've had. This example comes in excellent condition, and in a very nice size.
Condition
Used but excellent, no damage but a little wearing around the hood and lining as is typical with these pieces
