This piece could be the best designed piece of British military clothing of the later half of the 20th century. No-nonsense, built like a tank and the true embodiment of function over form. But what a form it is. The design began in the 50s, but really came into itself in the cold, unforgiving waters of the South Atlantic where it was well liked by Royal Navy crews heading to the Falklands. Tough double layered ventile fabric and so many details I really don't know where to start.
Condition:
This is perfect absolutely mint condition, with very few signs of use. The sleeves look like they have been professionally shortened, but the elastic has not yet been tied - to be honest this actually makes what would have been a very long fitting garment much more wearable!
