One of the last pattern of Tiger Stripe to be produced, 'Thai Large' is named for both it's Thai origins and a much larger repeat to the pattern, around 16.5". This pattern was introduced around 1974 and was used by ARVN troops is the closing years of the war. Rather then the earlier brushed cotton, this pattern was printed on a cotton poplin
Based on the manufacturing techniques and zipper etc, this particular pair of trousers, one of a pair I've got, were likely custom made in Thailand during these last few years. Possibly for an Air Force crewman that were stationed in Thailand until the end of the conflict. They follow the pattern of the OG107 trousers, even featuring the same buttons.
