A classic pair of US Army khaki trousers. First introduced shortly before the war, this style would be worn by servicemen of all branches of the military and continue in use to this day. This is a rare example of the pre-war 1937 pattern with a manufacturing date of April 1942. Easily distinguished by the use of zinc stamped U.S. ARMY buttons on the fly, but more importantly by the tag. These appear to have only been worn lightly and possibly never washed. A hard-to-find pair of trousers!
