This very simple accessory has really exploded in popularity recently, it actually took me a while to find a nice one! First introduced in service in the late part of WW2 is was designed for US Navy aviators as a backup compass incase their cockpit compass failed, but it also proved somewhat useful in survival situations. It seems like these were just as popular 60 years ago, and found a second life in the jungles of Vietnam where they would be worn by everyone from grunts to Navy Seals. A super cool piece of kit that comes with an original 15mm nylon watch strap and comfortably fits on the same strap as my WW2 Timor Dirty Dozen.

Condition

Used but excellent, a few light scratches to the plastic, but otherwise mint.
