A super cool, and really rather rare pair of 1930s flying gauntlets. These would have been amongst the somewhat varied styles of equipment provided to the USAAC in the pre-war years when patterns tended to vary pretty wildly. Composed of a wool lines main glove with sheepship lined mitten style finger covers that can be pinned back. Two lovely Talon Hookless zippers complete a great pair of gloves. Of note is the black/gold size label commonly found of 1930s pre-war air corps pieces.
Condition
Used but solid. Leather is soft and pliable. Some mothing to the lining of the gloves, but nothing major.
