A classic piece of WW2 kit, but as ever, the devil is in the detail. The vast majority of these bag are the typical "AN-6505' designation, widely issued during WW2 to both USAAF and Navy aircrew. Much fewer are the pre-war "0158791" version. Often seen with Talon Hookless zippers from the 1930s, these bags are much earlier than their later sibling. Based on the style of locking Talon zipper, this one likely dates to the late 1930s-early 40s.

Condition

Solid used condition. Both zippers work well, and baring a few minor knicks to the canvas, its in good shape. The only issue of note is a small 1/2 hole beneath the stencil.

Size
