A great, and really rather hard to find piece of military clothing. The practise of modifying M-43 jump pants started just prior to Operation Market garden, and would continue into the early 1950s. This particular pair are of the very early postwar period. The cargo pockets are made from a very heavy canvas and completed with sets of unbranded brass studs. To complete the mod a set of press studs have been added to the back and coin pockets. Not as rare as the WW2 versions, which are incredibly popular with airborne collectors, but still an outstanding addition to any collection.
