The classic Vietnam era issued Jungle Jacket. Heavily influenced by the WW2 Jump Jacket, this piece would be the standard issued uniform of the Nam era. Used by all branches of the service from the early 60s to mid 70s. This example is the rare and desirable first pattern with exposed buttons, epaulettes and waist tabs. These features only appeared together on the early 1963 made iteration used by advisors in the early part of the war. They would soon prove unsuited to jungle fighting and would be removed.
