Everyone's favourite, and ene of the most recognised, sought after camouflage patterns, the iconic Tiger Stripe. Tiger Stripe was developed and used extensively by the ARVN forces from 1959, but would find its way into the backs of many US troops who obtained sets either from ARVN stores or from the many tailors around bases who would make them in the larger US sizes.
This particular shirt is known (by Sgt Johnson's classification) as the Late War Midweight varation. These were made pretty much exclusively for US troops and come in much larger sizes that many of the earlier patterns. Issued from around 1969, broadly the same time period as the much more common lightweight shirt.
Condition
This is in solid used condition. I've stitched up a couple of popped seams across the shoulder (above the Airborne tab) and the hem, and replaced lost buttons with period correct originals. There is one small hole by the hem, which could be repaired but I didn't think it necessary.
