For any of you that have never been to, or lived in the tropics, they're hot, super hot, and very humid. Wearing jungle fatigues all day would have been sweaty, and I imagine pretty uncomfortable. So no surprise then that an entire industry sprung up around the US Army in Vietnam to supply clothing that would have been a little more comfortable to wear either when in country, or when sitting on a beach whilst on R&R. This included shorts.
This pair were made in Okinawa, from a the tadpole tiger pattern. They are based on the pattern of the UDT (underwater demolition team) shorts famously worn by Navy Seal teams, though are pocketless and don't feature the belt.
Condition
Perfect used condition, no damage and the Japanese made YKK zipper works perfectly. The tiger pattern itself retains a strong gold colour, with dark green, and brown
