It's pieces like this that keep my going! A truly unique and beautiful piece that belonged to a student at the US Naval Academy in the mid-late 1950s. I can't honestly say I've ever come across anything quite like it.
Henry F Diadone graduated from the academy in the class on 1959 and would serve with the Navy for the next 10 years before being discharged on medical grounds. The patches on the jacket represent some of the boats and squadrons with who Diadone served throughout his career. He passed away in 2012.
Condition
Used with some signs of wear. There is some discolouration and fading to the purple here and there, but no notable damage I can see. A very wearable piece.
