There is something very beautiful about 1920s art nouveau design, and I couldn't resist grabbing this for exactly that reason! I love the craftsmanship on this and the design put into such a simple and utilitarian piece. Used in the early part of the 20th century by the Navy to secure gun magazines. Hard to date exactly, but I've seen Fraim adverts from the 1920s that feature this style lock. This comes in working condition, with the matching key complete with the correct serial numbers!
