This is actually a new one for me, and what appears to be a pretty serious rarity. Officially know as "Herringbone Twill Trouser (Army Type PQD 19A)", these were made on a January 1943 contract and are a copy of the US Army PQD 19A chino. Given their scarcity I don't really know why these were made, but I would guess that as with other pieces of this nature they were issued to officers serving with shore crews, seabees etc.

Condition

Used with some light staining but no damage.
