A super cool example of a 1950s 'rigger' made parka as used by US Navy crews in Operation Deep Freeze in antartica in the late 1950s to early 1960s. As with other I've come across, this is simply made combining an m51 parka liner, detachable hood and a custom made canvas shell. This features all of the typical wear and sunfading I expect to see from anything well used in Antarctica.
Condition
Used but solid. Wear and repairs to the lining, but otherwise solid.
