The classic US Navy flight jacket, the G1. This style evolved from the WW2 era M422A and would be worn through to the late 80s. This is possibly the best and most sought after contract of the G1, the 1951 Monarch. Monarch would only make a single G1 contract, and these early designs are considered to be the best and most desirable.
Condition
This is in amazing condition. The leather is soft and very pilable and it's just had a few new set of period correct replacement knits. The lining is in great shape. A few small bald patches to the mouton, but otherwise honestly amazing.
