I love this, and have a couple that I keep to wear. Based on others that I've seen, I believe the cap was made around 1958/59 in Japan - others that I've had with the yellow seam tape are stamped 'Made in Japan 1958". The patch is handstitched, a beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship, and represents VFP-63, a light photographic reconnaissance unit who at this time would have been flying Crusaders. These caps are beautifully made, wool outer with a cotton lining and leather sweatband.

- In used but good condition. Sweatband shows a few scuffs, and these is a tiny knick out of the button on the top.
