A classic piece of WW2 aviator equipment, made and issued to both Army and Navy pilots. This one fell into my lap in salty shape, but being the nerd I am, I couldn't resist doing the research. This is named to George H Newcombe, who flew in 1944 & 45 with the US Navy as part of Torpedo Squadron Three (VT-3), rated as Aviation Radioman 3rd Class. Well once you've done the research, and with some great patina to it, I decided to fix it up. This has had a new set of deadstock talon zippers exactly matching the originals, and some holes sympathetically patched.

Condition

Well used, but now fixed and ready for use or display!
