Always nice to find a new piece that I've never seen. This is a 1950s US Navy experimental test sample prototype deck jersey that would likely have been part of the development process which resulted in the "jumper, identification, flight deck summer" that was issued from the very early 1960s. Made of a similar high-vis fabric, this one is unique in being a shirt style with the knitted cuffs! As it says on the tag, this was issued for evaluation purposes only! It's faintly stencilled to the back with a large 3. These jackets were used on flight decks to identify the various roles and responsibilities of crewman.
Condition
Excellent, no damage or wearing at all. A few light marks here and there.
