First seen during WW2, the Philippines made belt buckles continued to be popular with sailors long into the Vietnam era. This one was made for a Seabee, and whilst its hard to date exactly, i could guess this dates to the 1950s - 60s
Condition
Beautiful worn condition. I've put this into a handmade Hermann Oak strap (some of the best bridle leather in the world), but only used screw rivets so this can be removed easily if desired.
Size
- Buckle measures 3.5" x 2.5"
- Belt fits 33" - 36" with space to add more holes if needed
