Another classic deck jacket, and actually becoming remarkably hard to find in good condition! These replaced the WW2 era N4 olive deck jackets and retain a lot of the same design, but updated with a much more comfortable lining. These would be worn as standard temperate to cold weather outers during the early 60s, but it's on submarines that they would be most well know. Many of the surviving versions feature patches from the silent service, and this is no exception. The USS Tulibee was the smallest nuclear powered attack sub in the US fleet, and would serve from 1961 -1987.
This is in absolutely amazing condition and appears hardly worn. There is a name on the inside of the waist, so clearly issued, but seemly only worn very sparingly. The outer retains a strong blue colour, the zipper is still still from under use and the lining is flawless - this really is hard to improve upon.
