Another piece that you don't see everyday, especially in as good shape as these! These very light sneakers were issued to USN sailors during the war for use on wooden deck ships. Often made by either Sperry or Universal Rubber Co, you can still find similar style shoes being worn by sailors, particularly with the Sperry Topsider. Unfortunately the stamps in the insoles on these have worn off so I can't tell you the manufacturer. Often when you can find pairs, the rubber has rotten and the canvas shot through, so it's nice to find a good pair.
Condition
Great shape, the rubber is still pliable, no damage to the canvas. Please be aware, this is still 80+ year old rubber, they are delicate, and I would not recommend wearing them!
