Hard to date exactly, but sources indicate this could be as old as the 1890s! The water pitcher is amongst the rarest of the US Navy silverware, and would have been made available to senior officers only. Much larger (and heavier) than other jugs/pitchers I've had, and complete with an insulated ceramic lining.
Condition
Good used condition. Slight marks/dings but no damage or corrosion.
