A classic piece of US Navy cold weather gear, and an essential part of any self respecting vintage lovers wardrobe (I wear mine constantly!). This style of cap was used by the US Navy from the 30s through to the 60s, though this is of the classic WW2 style. A tightly knitted wool cap that provides warmth and comfort, and gently stretches to fit any head.
Condition:
This is in phenomenal condition and shows few signs of wear. Very unusually there are no holes or moth nips, and the shape is completely original. The tag has been written on (dated 44') but it appears to not have been used or washed. The tags are typically washed out and this retains its full colour. There are traces of a painted name, but only a small trace remains.

- One size fits all.
- Expands to cover any head size. I'm a 7 3/8 and this fits nicely.
