
First introduced in service in the late part of WW2 this was designed for US Navy aviators as a backup compass incase their cockpit compass failed, but it also proved somewhat useful in survival situations. This is a late WW2 example comes with the original WW2 strap and WALTHAM signed across the dial, verses WCC on the later iterations.

Used but very good, a few light scratches to the plastic and some dirt on the strap
