As the war progressed and aircraft became faster, the g-inducing tight turns required in dogfights over Europe became an issue for pilot as they blacked-out. The development of pneumatic the anti-g suit became a priority for all air forces, and by the end of the war working suits were in use. This bag would have been issued to carry one of the first widely issued varieties, the Type G3A as used by USAAF pilots. The suits are rare, the bag even more so!
