A few years ago, in a previous life, I did a project on the meaning of cool. And one of those brands we used as an example was Ray Ban, and it's timeless design, the aviator. These are the definition of cool, never questioned, never out of style, always utterly stylish. As with many modern classics, the history of the design goes back to the war, and the sunglasses that were issued to American pilots. This is an original pair of USAAF issued Ray Ban aviators, because before they were Ray Ban, they were Bausch & Lomb.
These are in good, but used condition. There are a few tiny and very scratches on the lenses which are all but invisible, and certainly don't cause any issues when wearing them. The frames are solid, marked Bausch & Lomb under the bridge (as in photo 4) and come in their issued metal case. The only issues worth noting is some small scratches to the bakelite of the bridge.
