A few years ago, in a previous life, I did a project on the meaning of cool. And one of those brands we used as an example was Ray Ban, and it's timeless design, the aviator. These are the definition of cool, never questioned, never out of style, always utterly stylish. As with many modern classics, the history of the design goes back to the war, and the sunglasses that were issued to American pilots. This is an original pair of USAAF issued Ray Ban aviators, because before they were Ray Ban, they were Bausch & Lomb.
Condition
These are in amazing shape, the lenses are perfect and the frame solid. They come in the original case, though unfortunately the clasp on the case does not latch correctly. I will send them along with modern Ray Ban case as an alternative.
