In my humble opinion, much of the best and most interesting jewellery that was made during the war was produced in the CBI theatre. Much of it in Northern India where the allies had numerous based ferrying men and material out east to support in the war in Burma and China. A great pair of locally made wings with enamel inlaid CBI theatre insignia set onto a chunky sterling silver bracelet.
Condition
Used but solid. When it arrived with me the wings were a little lose so I've re-set them in a much more secure way. She's now good to go for the next 70 years.
